Uninstalling Comodo makes no difference the problem persists.

It seems to have something to do with the auth check when it's allowed internet access.

No idea, sorry. Something unique to your setup is causing an issue. You can just use the workaround that you have found. Otherwise you can try loading Windows from scratch and see if you can determine the cause.

At least SandBoxie does allow it to work my only concern if the problem persists for other trainers with games that cannot be run inside the sandbox? That could be a problem.

Meanwhile is it possible for you to modify the trainer slightly so when it sees the reg offline key it uses that directly and does not attempt to connect to the internet? I believe if you did that it would solve the problem entirely.

If that is not possible let me know but I strongly believe that would work... Since the trainer works in SandBoxie and SandBoxie is simulating zero network adapter of any kind so the Trainer truly believes there is no internet within the sandbox.

It might also speed the trainers up a bit if they scan the local directory for keys and use them or else try to connect to internet.

Then again I don't know what kind of work is involved in doing that change if it's too much hassle etc.

No, sorry. We would have to modify about 10,000+ trainers. Offline keys are meant to be used when you are really offline not just to bypass the authentication.

Not to worry it's all good been playing having no problems using it for a long time now (using the sandbox solution) all is well.

Later on I will do a full Win reinstall and that should solve the problem properly.

(In an interesting side note if I disable my network adapter and run game+trainer it works fine there too -- something must be seriously bugged in windows somewhere)

So I'm having no problems now I got things figured out so thanks for helping! and your trainers make games much more enjoyable!.

Good evening all. I am unsure if this trainer is still active, but I just wanted to let you know that an update appears to be out. I have tried the trainer and all options appear to work with the exception of the "4" option. If it is possible for this to be updated, great! If not, I understand.
