The ability editor is great, but I have a couple of small questions.

Whenever I launch it, Win 8.1 asks me if I want to allow the program to make changes to my computer... like it was the first time it ever saw it. Is that supposed to happen or did I do something wrong? Also, when I am finished with the game I shut down the editor and I hear a tone like I deleted something, and the editor closes. The editor does not remember any changes from one session to the next and there seems to be no "save" function. Is this correct?

It still works and all that, but like I said, it acts like a completely new program every time I launch it, and changes I make are erased when I stop the program (using the X in the upper right corner) and launch it again. Just checking to see if that is correct.

To my knowledge that is correct.
Every time the Editor is launch it will have reset to its default setting. The noise that u here is normal also when it closes.
I will assume it is like all trainers on this site. The settings are not saved example: I turn on the unlimited health in the trainer and when I turn off the game and start it all over it is no longer a option and i have to turn the option back on.
Because the editor is not the same as the trainer in act I will then use the editors that are included on some of the trainers that u can use like Far Cry 4...in some areas Add Exp Add Skill Add Money..works the same. When u edited the numbers the next time that u open the trainer the numbers will have changed to their default.
Wordy I know but I am only assuming that you wanted a explanation of sorts due to the many times that you explained yourself.
To prevent the ADMIN Check u might want to change that in the properties of the trainer to stop the prompt.
(To address the last question...97 pages is a a lot to read I understand that..so I'll answer it -it has not been stated in the trainer notes but mentioned some where are 90 or so..lolz-
You must have the program running AT ALL TIMES to make sure the changes that you make stick, DA:I will lets say do checkups during the game regarding your stats and if that editor is not telling it that it is XYZ (your settings) it will place what it knows that it should be as your level with your equipment etc. So to keep the Editors cheats it has to stay running.

    Question #1:

Thats the way i coded the editor so that you dont have to right click on it and run it as an admin. All you got to do is double click on it.

    Question #2:

Yes thats correct. There is no save funtion in the editors code. But. If enough people ask me to add it to the editor. I will.

And the click that the editor makes every time that you close it. Is just to let you know that the editor is reverting all the changes to the game code back to normal.

First of all, thanks for creating the editor, it's honestly great stuff.

That being said, is it possible to have it default to the existing values? IE, if my Strength is currently 10, then it will show 10 once the save loads, and I can edit it from there.

Just asking because I meant to edit only Magic and it set all my values to 100 when activated. Constitution, Willpower, and Dexterity actually remained at 100 even after the editor was closed.

Or am I doing something off there?

Much appreciated and again, thanks for all the work.

Yes it can be done. But. i'm gonna have to add this feature to the to do list. Right now. I'm analysing 3 options. I'm figuring a way to make them stick. to its new value.
