Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel Message Board  

Hello, I just recently purchased the trainer for Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel today, but I cannot seem to get it to work. I have the game via Steam and the trainer is the same version as the game, 1.27. (Nevermind, just saw the trainer is at version 1.1). Update!!!!!

I tried F1 at the main menu and at trainer screen (with the game minimized). Opening the trainer before starting the game and while the game is running, but I never get the 'trainer activated' confirmation.

I have noticed that at the bottom of the trainer there is a red square and next to it says "waiting for game". Does this mean the trainer never 'connects' to the game per say?

Being an older title you may need to put the trainer in the game directory and make sure the trainer window is activated on the main display.

Hi I have the steam version as well and I tried this but it still is stuck at waiting for game.

Same problem here. Tried all the troubleshooting options running as admin etc..

Trainer stays on waiting for game. Tried to manually activate it and by using hotkey to no effect.
I made a report for a update.

Disregard this post and my report for an update. The post about starting the game with BOS.exe in the game folder solved my problem. I was using the shortcut on the desktop.

I can confirm I had the same problem and this fixed it

Not a request. Just wanted to see if it work with gamepass... trainer is not compatible.😢

I can't get the trainer to work. It is GOG and the right version. I put the trainer exe in the game file but won't activate. Help.
