Terraria Trainer V5 and Cheats Discussion - Page 41

22:27:48: Terraria, 1.4.0.2 (STEAM)
22:28:14: Successfully attached to Terraria
22:28:15: player, Script error in line 8: Cannot find aob for 'originalcode_6118'

Thats the error i get when attempting to activate the trainer at the main menu. Disabled antivirus, ran as admin, Uninstalled the game, manually deleted left over files, reinstalled fresh copy from steam. am not using tModLoader.

This is exactly my situation, same options work and don't work as Vergasmo reports. Pretty much item editing is all that works.

On a side note, this trainer used to have "fast digging/mine anything" mode. That was great option. I imagine it's not there anymore due to code changes probably making it more trouble than its worth.

THanks CH for the continued great work, hopefully these issues will sort themselves out once there is no more stability updates or balance patches to the game.

Read the trainer readme. Dont activate at main menu.

I'm also running vanilla, no mods. Everything you say does not work, works fine on my end. Please take a look at the demonstration video and compare the game settings I have with yours as the cheats heavily depends on them.

Thanks for the video. I have reverified those settings are set according to the video. However, I am experiencing the same thing everyone else is reporting .

Ok after retesting, vanilla, no mods, new world, new player, re installed terraria, no AV installed, Running as admin, i can confirm the following

So at first, I was also experiencing problems, and I also got that 'Cannot find aob for 'originalcode_6118' error message. After taking a look at the readme, I noticed that this trainer does not start in the way we are used to. You need to start a Singleplayer game, and get in the game to where you see your character and health bar, etc. Then hit the F1 key to activate the trainer.

As the readme says, this game creates things on the fly every time you start a game, so the data isn't always in the same place each restart. Anyway, once I did the above, I found that the trainer worked just fine, at least for me. For further info, my character is a Classic character playing on a Master world, with no mods.
