Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.12, Reveal Map, Plasma Force Armor (God....

first of all Nice Job. but I have one little issue. I am using retail version (not origin or steam) options work fine except if I try to execute an orbital drop. the game instantly crashes when I attempt this. can an update be released to solve this issue?

I recently reinstalled this and updated, and got the exact same problem. I solved it by turning of "Numpad +: Plasma Force Armor".

This function existed in the C&C3 Trainer as well, and works as a sort of infinite health unless the damage you take is higher than the units total health. The Orbital Drop in RA3 is machines with hp, but they werent mean for beaing "healed". The Plasma Force Armor technically heals your units, including these satellites.

I would actually recommend, that whenever you want to orbital drop but still use the trainer, to save. Deactivate Plasma armor. Fire the drop/s. Then reactivate.

Or just dont use the Plasma Force Armor and simply use the
"F3: Mega Unit / Building" function. Sure, it's more work but you wont crash as easily then

Decided to replay the game, non-uc verison direct from Origin.

Trainer does not work with my windows 7 64-bit system. Does not activate, even after I made sure trainer was running in admin mode.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Red Alert 3 is where the non-uc version of the game is located. Even put the trainer in that directory thinking it did not find it and still will not activate at main menu after hitting F1.

Is there a way to extract the rules.ini fro Red Alert 3, or does RA3 have any sort of INI Files that can be extracted and modified?

Ok I can confirm the 1.12 Trainer works with the Origin and retail version. on Win7 64 bit version.

Remember that using anything that can mod the game or the games exe can cause the trainer from not working! That includes cracks to bypass the need to start Origin!

How did you get yours to work?

Am not using anything to mod the game.. My copy got is from Origin which is a legal copy.

Make sure you are using IE9. Tell your A/V to ignore the trainer, run origin and the trainer in admin mode. Note you will have to turn off the Plasma Force Armor option to use orbital bombardment. As that will crash the game if you have that on when you use the Orbital Bomardment. But please note. If I remember right there is nothing that can be done to sort that issue.
