As much as people might hate me for saying this, I'd almost rather CH put the game on hold until it settles down rather than get burned out trying to keep the trainer up to date while CA tries to patch this piece of crap game into a usable state.

From experience, there's only so much "OH MAH GAWD NEW PATCH! WHERE'S THE NEW TRAINER???" the CH team can put up with before they shelve a game.

Keep up the good work guys. Been a satisfied member for 6 years!

    ^Seconded

The game needs work anyway, so might as well wait until the patching settles down before making another trainer for it. I'm sure this might upset some people, but it would make things a lot easier for the CH-guys. And it would lessen the risk of the game being shelved, which I'm sure none of us want.

And as usual, you guys do great work! You are awesome!

Signed, another 6 year member, going on lifetime.

Be careful everybody. After the download of the patch use the verification of the integrity to game cache. A small download to 11 Mo is then performed.

This ALWAYS happens with this game & Shogun 2 (for me at least) to this day, so don't need to be 'careful' If you verify cache, exit Steam and verify again it will probably download it again (again, this is how my Shogun 2 does it)

ETA is when it's done, got to allow them to skip patches occasionally especially with the utter mess Rome 2 is at the moment. Personally if I were them I'd do one every two weeks max at the moment, grab the trainer, do a few saved games with the cheats you want (most people only really want the money) and then you're set for the next patch.

Don't get me wrong I'm after a new trainer.. but I'm happy to wait.
