If you have an issue with the Trainer I would suggest you put in an update request
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
I don't think the unlimited movement cheat is working properly. Every time you capture a settlement your campaign action points bar is completely drained and that never happened before the latest game patch.
The option does works as intended and what you see is just visual meaning you can move around without a limit.

That option doesn't works that way but after each battle it refills your units health yet might not work for all of the unit types.
First, id like to thank you for this trainer. I usually play on the legendary difficulty, but sometimes my cheater self comes out. I mostly use trainers for testing purposes, or sometimes to quickly conquer the world with boring factions, just to get some grip of them in the later stages of game. Using trainers is much less time consuming than editing the game files, which even gives other factions the same capabilities as id have
Unfortutely though, a very important function of leveling up armies does not work anymore. It works for characters and generals, but those die like flies whereas armies stay on forever, hence they are more important IMO.
Of course, ive been a lifetime member that made a single playment, which means that for the past 14 years, ive had access to many trainers and that single payment isnt even enough to keep this site running for a day.
Still, i think requesting this would be fair towards all the members. I even offer my help with the matter, because i work as a developer myself and ive made quite a deal of bugfixes regarding the witcher 3 (search my nick on nexusmods).

Taking settlements empties your movement. The exception is when you sack them. That part is normal.
However, the movement hack does seem inconsistent: armies subject to the hack end up not doing so later on (one movement later), and may need to change stance (normal -> march) to re-activate it. In short, the hack seems buggy.
