I have been using the Rome 2 trainer and it was working well.
Then, I bought the Fire & Maneuver game and interference by it on the trainer started.
It did not allow most cheats.
I uninstalled Fire & Maneuver and deleted its files in every way I can think of. It didn't work. It is still interfering in the same way.
Does anyone know of a solution?
Is there a place in my PC hard disk where Fire & Maneuver still exists in some way, perhaps?
Thanks.
I don't think a different game will interfere with the trainer, not especially when you aren't running both games at the same time.
Are you using the latest trainer for Rome 2 which has just been put up? There was an update for Rome 2 a few days back so if you were still using the old trainer, the new update would have affected it. If you bought fire & manuever at that time as well, it was just a coincidence.
For avoidance of doubt, the latest trainer for Rome 2 is the one in Aurora while the old (previous version) trainer is the standalone one that can be downloaded. If you were using the standalone one that you downloaded separately, then you need to switch to the one within aurora that is dated 26 June.

Thank-you, but I can't seem to be able to activate Aurora or to join it.
I have it in my Downloads folder, but when I try to download from the zip file, I do not get and option of a Rome 2 (r2).
Can someone provide guidance on how exactly the invulnerability function works when defending? I know there is an edit function that you are supposed to be able to flip from 1 to 0, but I am not finding success - I've toggled the hotkey and edit options in various combinations, but the attacking army is the only one that seems to benefit each time. I have only tried it on legendary difficulty (because its only fair ha) for what that's worth. I'm hoping I just don't have the timing and combination in the correct sequence.
In the editor option set 'Defence Flag' to 1 if you're defending and vice versa if you're attacking and sometimes you have to experiment to get it working.

Download Aurora and enter your login credentials then once you logged in look up your desired trainer and activate it.

As the trainer author mentioned, you have to log into aurora. Aurora is a software that you have to log into using your CH account. To give an analogy, it's like logging into steam to access your library of games. For Aurora, you are logging in to access a library of trainers. There is no separate download for trainers in aurora. It's all done in the background within aurora. That's to say, the trainer is accessed within Aurora. Log into Aurora, find Rome 2 under "trainers", select the version that you want and you will be presented with the trainer menu screen.

so after the battle begins (trainer long activated)...
...switch editor function to 1...click the lock icon...activate the hotkey for invulnerability and it should work? If not, deactivate and retry with 0?
I feel like I've done that with 1 and 0 to no effect, but I shall keep trying! Any other key strokes or orders I've missed?
Thanks
