Total War: Rome 2 Discussion
Physically click the options on the trainer and you'll hear "select key". Just hit the same key it was suppost to represent (Num 1 = Num 1) etc.

yes it is..
alt-tab out and close the small developer window that the trainer opens when you activate it. pwiz will post another trainer later today that doesn't have this problem.

you got lucky then.. because the trainer has always required that you press F7 to turn the options off before entering next turn or engaging in a battle due to the developers adding scanners for cheats.
it's clearly written on the FIRST POST in this thread and also in the trainer instructions itself..
"As always stated, before using a trainer on long, complex, involved games,
make sure you SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL GAME if it is a long campaign and you want
to ensure that you have backup before trying mods and trainers. Second,
SAVE OFTEN as you may find that you have had unwanted intentions with
manipulations that you make OR the game may crash unexpectedly. Third,
every care was taken to try and keep the trainer from crashing the game.
However, we suggest saving just before every END TURN or right before entering
every actual BATTLE PHASE of the game. Also, to further help against detection
and/or crashing, make sure to use the F7 Key: All Options OFF option before
ending turns or before entering a battle"
