Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Message Board  

I don't play multiplayer matches. The only thing I've done remotely close to that is a game in the arcade section, and when I would play it I never had the trainer running.

Wait so can someone explain how it's safe to use this while online in story to get brutal achievements and also why it isn't safe? Like how can they detect you've clearly cheated do they have some kind of back door that let's them know when a 3rd party software is altering the game?

Doesn't matter if you don't play multiplayer. Blizzard's still banning people for using third-party applications in single player. They justify closing $200+ battlenet accounts with cheats upsetting achievement balance, despite numerous alternatives like either locking/resetting achievements, barring you from the ladder or JUST giving you an opt-out. If questioned on it, their tech support will tell you to **** off, to put it bluntly. Players and gaming press have been scratching their heads about it for awhile, but Blizzard doesn't think they need "dirty cheaters" playing their games, even if they've been doing so since Lost Vikings.

But they will still send you coupons, so hurray? Not my problem anymore. They're not getting another cent from me. If it weren't for the fact that the creative people behind Starcraft 2, who have nothing to do with company policy-making, would be hurt by it, I'd root for the pirate teams when Legacy of the Void rolls around.

Game Patched to 2.1.0.28667 today for me. Trainer crashes when loading into mission with Trainer Activated. Patcher says it will be patching regionally, so may not effect all at once. I'm in US on East coast, not sure if that's a viable region. I have a retail digital copy of the game from Blizzards battlenet store if that's relevant.

Same here, same region. Trainer doesn't work anymore. Doesn't crash game, oddly enough, but absolutely nothing works though.

Patch 2.1 trainer?

Whatever the last one is.

If you went to MP after using the trainer in solo play without exiting the game first, this was how you were tracked. The game exe is still modified even if you close the trainer. You must exit out the game and restart it to clear it completely.
