Which version of the game are you referring to? Which trainer? Which distribution platform (Steam or GOG)?

I just downloaded the Steam version of the game and the latest Steam trainer (#2 in the trainer download list). No Windows or anything else pops up after I activated the trainer in the game's main menu (when the vinyl with the start button appears).

No idea what causes this behavior on your side. - Did you run the trainer with admin rights and excluded the trainer exe file in yopur security software?

I can't use the trainers for this game; I got this game from the humblebundle store for $2.99, and the date on the zip file title it came in said 2013-04-28, so I tried the latest trainer, then older versions (all done in admin mode first, then game in admin mode second), firewall and real-time scanning off, and trainers fully extracted from their compressed folders, and nothing works

I can use cheat-engine to cheat some fire tributes, but I'd like to mess with the other cheats also; any help, or am I dead in the water?

What anti-virus software are you using and what is exactly happening when you try to run the trainer? Also what version did the humble store sell, the one for STEAM or GOG?

OK I looked it up and they sell the STEAM version so you definitely want #2 Brutal Legend Trainer PATCH 05.07.2013

Do Not put the game under admin. it will crash the trainer and probably the game also

I run McAfee Livesafe (came with my computer) at latest version, virus database and all; I will try the trainer you provided, and get back to you if it works

EDIT: unfortunately, that trainer doesn't work, and I did everything I did before, had my firewall and real-time scanning off, ran trainer and game (BrutalLegend_NoSteam.exe file) in non-admin mode, then trainer admin and non-admin game, then both admin, still no dice

I do have the game on another hard-drive on my computer (D: drive), but even putting the trainer in the same drive directory it has doesn't work, even the files themselves in the game's folder doesn't work. Am I boned, or should I try an earlier trainer?
