Wanted to give an update where people might read this. I am running the game on Steam current build 829. Testing game with Trainer for build 748 and the game crashes upon entering gameplay with both new game and save. Trying to activate the trainer after loading in results in the same troubles. The audio stutters and then crashes to desktop.

I decided to try an earlier version of the game with an earlier version of the trainer, but thought why not just try the trainer first. I have downloaded and currently testing trainer version 743 which appears to be working fine with Build 829 though I haven't fully tested each feature.

Currently playing with version 743 trainer on Build 829 of the game (release 10/18/2021) and can report back as needed, but anyone having crashing problems I would recommend trying the previous version 743 of the trainer and see how it works for you.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Tested this one myself and what ever they added it seems like they did not totally rollback like with the other titles in the series. Adding always online Epic game services to a single player title on Steam is just dumb in my opinion. Even though the versions match, new game or trying a save, the games just crashes to desktop if the trainer is activated when trying to load into the game and crashes if you wait until in the game to activate.

My steam version is 1.01.743.0 on a fresh install. So 4. Tomb Raider Trainer 1.1.743.0 is the one you will want if version shows up as the above.

I don't know if it is just me. I downloaded the new trainer, it states "Tomb Raider Mobile" and when I look at the options, there are only 4?

there are 4 options in the trainer tab and the editor tab

this super old game was completely rewritten from scratch when it patched, so the new trainer may have different and less or more options. I toyed with just retiring it, but I went ahead and gutted out some options for this latest patch.

That makes sense, I was only confused because of the original description of available options. I am sorry to hear that the devs did that, those options were fun while they lasted.
