Not so much "supposed to be" as will be, at this rate. There's 9 new weapons with the MP DLC packs total, and out of the seven Firefight adds, two are new and one is from the Alienware promo. And Leviathan's unlockable weapons are going to be the Origin PC bonus shotgun, and the preorder assault rifle. So yay. More money to burn at a future date, thanks to BioWarEA.

Yeah, sorry. I tend to make as few points in as many words as possible.
I guess a net gain of two guns for two dollars with the pack isn't terrible, but still.
Ah, well for those that do not play MP it is a pretty good deal. At least releasing more of the MP weapons into SP helps with immersion, hopefully the same will be done with the currently SP exclusive weapons gained from the Firefight Pack.
Edit: The Leviathan DLC will be released August 28th for all platforms, except the PS3 in Europe, which will be the 29th.
