Chuggalug, and do a double back flip. I just got my trainer to work using one of the oldest ways to get around a patch.
I'm running windows 7 64bit. Nvidia 230M Graphics with the latest "BETA" card drivers in a HP Laptop.
WITHOUT starting the trainer, start the game and let it progress until you reach your in-game save point. Hitting the Windows button doesn't work to get you back to your desk top. Neither does pressing any combination of keys 'Except', 'CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up the task manager. Leave the task manager alone and go ahead and start the trainer. Cancel the task manager, drop down to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Rage' symbol. When you are back in the game, Press F1 and you will hear 'activated'. At first the trainer keys didn't work. But if you slowly go through the 1-9 buttons and hold them down for a bit, suddenly everything works and you will hear activated on each button. Never had any problems with freezes or hang ups when changing scenes. I believe that is due to my LATEST nvida BETA drivers. Hope some of you gamers can use this.
