I have been playing the game fine since launch, with the trainer on. I only used the skill point increase cheat initially, then I started using unlimited ammo later. All was fine. Today I started using infinite health and stamina. I quit the game and came back later, now the game crashes every time I try to continue. I've run the game with the trainer completely closed, not running at all, and it still crashes every time I try to continue.

Did I ruin my save game somehow by using the trainer? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not gonna start over from scratch but... I want to finish the game >_>

I started a new game (was able to continue from not too far back but lost ALL my stuff!!!) and it loads fine. My previous save still crashes when I try to load it regardless of whether the trainer is running or not. Trainer works fine again on my new save.

So, just a heads up to everyone. Keep backups of your game and be prepared that this might happen to you too!

Same has happened to me

Completely ruined my save havent tried to start a new game

I really don't know why everyone's complaining about errors when using this trainer... Guys, update your PC drivers and make sure your game is correctly patched. For those who bought the game via Steam, you can right-click while in the Games Library, then Verify Game Cache Integrity. It's working fine for me, even when using all options from the Trainer. REMEMBER: ONLY ACTIVATE THE TRAINER OPTIONS WHILE INGAME.

A small tip for those who didn't notice: instead of using option 9 (Mega Items) everytime, just activate it, open your Inventory and close it, then deactivate the option. You'll get x99 for every item including loaded bullets and Melee weaps, execept for Firearms such as Heavy Pistol, Burst Rifle, etc.

Game is now crashing for me with the trainer off as well. I guess my saved game is FUBAR.

So far all going good. Keep up the good work CHT.

Guys please check your Screenshots folder for the game in Documents under out/screenshots and make sure you dont have a ton of screen shots, i really think one of the Trainer keys is taking them as ive never even used the print screen key.

As for the save file being corrupted, deleting the file Client.Blob within the Steam folder may or MAY not fix that problem, it has for others anyway. Cal,Wiz, would you double check this for a possibility please? thx.



Alot of people have been having that problem and they dont use the trainer, so i dont think the trainer is the problem as far as the saved games issues go.

And yes, the 99 items cheat can cause problems when it comes to weapons and modding them.

Its best to throw the weapons on the ground or put them in storage before you use it then turn it off once you have all the items and get your weapons back.
