I got 49 hours over two playthroughs. I think my first was 21 or 22 hours; I got a few extra hours the second time around because I took a little more time exploring.

I was annoyed that I didn't get the Foxiest achievement... I was doing a pacifist/stealth run the second time and any time I set off an alarm I reloaded an earlier save. The only thing I can think of is if the game is set up to cancel out the achievement completely, regardless of reloading a previous save before the alarm was set off... which doesn't make much sense considering you can kill someone by accident, reload a game and not kill them and still get the pacifist achievement... blah.

Ah well, I'm not playing again just to get an achievement. I'll wait for the DLC.

I beat it at 18 hours as well.I was totally under-awed with this game. I didnt care about any of the characters or the story. It wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't very interesting. Anyway thats my 2 cents.

I beat it in 18 hours but that was with cheating, it would have taken me much longer without cheating. The game to me was a lot of fun.

Well, most people that post here don't have any regrets in buying this game. I thought it was incredible, and it does have some RPG elements in it, as with all Deus Ex games it's a hybridization of many genres.

Read through the pages here, people posted what they thought.
