Tried the new trainer. Following the instructions exactly, but no effect on the game no matter which option I use. Tried using an earlier trainer version as someone suggested, but having no luck there either, just crashes as soon as I hit F1. Guess I'll put this one on the back burner for a while.

try to use too like it was say on instructions and dint work for me too

Same here. The previous two worked for me, but now they crash the game. This one does nothing when I activate it. I wasn't sure if I was the only one having that problem.

I'll just wait until the next patch.

I got the 1.015 STEAM version of this game, along with the latest 1.015 trainer. I believe I followed the instructions to the letter:

1) started trainer, then started game
2) entered main menu (with ships in the background) - hit F1 and I heard "trainer activated"
3) loaded game, pressed SPACE, clicked on research on the botton of the screen, pressed numpad 3 and heard "activated"
4) clicked on ships log, then back on research

There was no increase in upgrade points

I then tried saving the game as TEST, pressed numpad 3, resaved and overwrote TEST, and loaded game, still no change.

Am I doing something wrong?

did you right click run as admin on trainer? did you disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software?

Yes ran 5t as admin. No security software on my gaming rig - I run it nekkid to prevent any lag/latency!

I have UAC turned off, so everything runs as admin. AV disabled and firewall off. I can run the trainer, press F1 and hear activated. I follow the instructions to the letter and press Numpad 1, I hear activated but nothing actually happens. There's no increase in res after following the steps. Running the steam version, 1.015, with the same 1.015 trainer.

I have tried everything as well - I have the 1.015 version of the game and I the same version of the trainer and it is not working at all. :-(
