Dungeons of Dredmor Message Board  

First off, I'd like to thank you guys for an awesome job, this game hasn't even been out for a week and you already have a trainer for it. Thank you. Secondly would it be possible to create an option to give you more skill selections at the beginning of the game for those of us who who want to goof around with uber characters?

Version 1.0.3 was just released, and apparently I can't open my old altered file now... nasty! Think it might have something to do with the patch note that reads:
"Rewrote the save game format so we can add items without breaking everything."

apperently, the old savegame from 1.02 cannot be reloaded due to their patch

"Your old save games from Dredmor 1.02 almost certainly do not work with Dredmor 1.03. We apologize for the inconvenience. I’m pretty sure you’ll get an achievement for your pain, at least. — David"

"Suddenly The Dungeon Collapses" the achievement is called...

Apparently, there will be another patch out soon tomorrow to fix the save/load issue. but for those who cannot wait, see below.

"First off, a hotfix is now up for the load/save issue. You can grab it at www.gaslampgames.com/dredmor_hotfix.zip - unzip it into your Steam/steamapps/common/dungeons of dredmor/ and let it overwrite Dungeons of Dredmor.exe. That will get all old save games up and running (at least all of the broken ones that we have found so far.)
