    Not if you use the trainer to boost every stat of your player to 200+ and give him weapons and magic where applicable, then both shield and sword (fade and lion) can be used by rogue (at least that's what I did with similar occasions in DA:O) dunno if it will work in DA 2 as well. There might still be items locked to only mage or warrior or rogue...

    Nope. Rogues can't use swords in this one. Warriors can't switch to a bow either.

    yea its kinda sad i wish they keept somethings but yea rogues cant use swords at all
