if you are experiencing that your save is damaged it is because of R&D development during practice, got this info from codemasters, We are aware of an issue where the savegame is reported as corrupt after using the R&D function in the practice session of career mode. However this issue is not 100% repeatable, and was not encountered when testing the game, so is still being investigated. In the meantime if you do not use the R&D function when playing the career mode you should hopefully avoid experiencing the problem.

As soon as we have further information and any fixes, we will post them in our FAQs and on the forums.

hopes this is informative for someone who experienced this like myself.

    Problem

The save file is reported as corrupt after progressing through the career mode.

    Solution

We have identified that this only occurs if, after completing an R&D objective, you...

    - Retire to the paddock via the Engineer (in the garage).
    - Terminally damage your car and select retire to paddock.
    - Get disqualified and select retire to paddock.

As long as you progress to the qualifying session before quitting the game this problem will not occur.

We are investigating a permanent fix to this issue, but the above workaround will allow you to play normally until that time.
