    Amnesia: The Dark Descent

LOL, that game is as dated as it can be. Even a 5 year old PC can run that!

Well I do have to concur with Mafia II, it just overheated my GPU!

    Others include:-

    1) GTA IV + EFLC (No matter how fast your system is, the game will always need more!)
    2) Call of Duty MW2
    3) Bad Company 2
    4) The Saboteur (Even thought most of the models looked like cheap plastic)
    5) Mass Effect 2 (I would justify on why it is a resource hogger...The developers did a brilliant job with the game, and I haven't seen such jaw dropping graphics in my gaming life!)

Can't think of more right now...But I know there are hundreds out there.

I feel sad now, my computer can't run Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

The worst one I've come across was Battle For Middle Earth II, it lags so bad when theres big armies on the map.

I'm surprised noone's mentioned Crysis yet.

'cause it's a -king joke, now. Anyone who mentions Crysis in a benchmarking/performance automatically loses their tech-qualifications reputation immediately.

Thanks for some of the suggestions. I am going to be testing out Empire at War, Metro 2033, and GTA IV (again), and I might still have Crysis kicking around somewhere. =P I played Mount and Blade but I was shooting for physics and general graphical lag, not the processing lag of 125+ units =P Any other suggestions are welcome too.

Wait for Crysis 2 and you will see what high graphic really mean.

BF Bad Company 2 demands a lot if played all maxed out.

    No.

Crysis 2 is designed to be less demanding. It may look better, but it'll be much easier on people's computers than the first one.

only one game on that list i cant run in high settings and that is GTA4+EFLC.... everything else on the list i can max out on my comp

but if i had to make alist...

Metro 2033 (try to crank it fully up in DX11 with everything on high... iwould like to see that..)
    GTA IV + EFLC

thats pretty much the only stuff that have killed my comp in framerate :P
