I have the same problem, STEAM issued a new update today and now the trainer is not working. It crashes the game the moment I press F1.

I'm getting on odd problem with the trainer for the patched version from 04/14/2011 and I'm wondering if it's just me. When I activate it the lantern bugs. Whenever I take out the lantern it rapidly appears and disappears from screen, as well as the light it generates. The game acknowledges that the lantern is present (i.e. Don't go crazy in dark corners, monsters can see you, etc.). Oddly this problem seems to rectify itself if there's something to take nearby, such as a note or tinderbox. As soon as I pick up the item, however, the problem resumes.

I'm having the exact same issue as you, Rob.

The trainer no longer works after the updates that have occured last week.
Could we have an update please?

I am having this same issue aswell, it seems its caused by simply activating the trainer (pressing F1) as this issue is present before using any of the trainer options.

current trainer is tested and working on current game version.

The options are working, but after activating the trainer the latern for example doesnt work well anymore, the arm+latern keep appearing and dissapearing. Other texture corruption is sometimes visible also.

The problem only occurs after activating the trainer, without trainer its all good.
