Sorry for this problem. We've disabled the patch on Steam and we are investigating and working quickly on fixing the issue before re-issuing the patch.

Patch has fixes for Tuesday DLC release.

Hi, I also want to give my 2 cents now.

First, thanks for another great release! The trainer is great! Not wanting to iniciate an endless debate again, you guys must also understand ppls frustration when the game crashes to the desktop every 5 minutes due to the its autoscans (as posted) when using the trainer, because that makes the trainers kinda useless no matter how great they are. So it would be nice if you also show a bit understanding for users frustration and critics here and not immediately threaten them with "bannings".

Now what I experienced was that, the game scaned itself often if you didn't have all achievements (steam) so they get updated and there is "no cheating". During this time, it was really a PITA because I always had to turn the trainer on/off all the time, specially in certain situations before the archievement is reached or before autosavings occour to avoid a crash to desktop.
Since I have all achievements I could use the trainer without problems with the original mafia2.exe file (steam) without any crashes (8 chapters in a row with options 1, 3, 4, 5 permanentely on). Maybe there are no scans now.

The No DVD fix option is, of course, an option as mencioned

Defo a good trainer n a great game

Sounds like they are gearing that new patch mostly to get things ready for the DLC. How many people even buy DLC?? I don't. I feel it is greed of game developers when you consider how soon after the original game comes out that they follow up with this stuff. Why couldn't it be part of the full game from the start.

If I like the games al get the extra stuff ave done that with D.A.O / G.T.A / M.E.2 / F.O.3 and more.

Did they patch the game today because when I try to start the trainer the game crashes?

Actually I need to correct myself. The game crashes After I have activated the trainer and then selected Continue Story.
