    Its called Dal in India. And there are loads of Indian curries.

    I just had smoked/roasted Brinjals. I devour those.

    I just had fried rice and shrip sauce on top with sweet tea and a on the side chocolately claire (homemade).

    mmmm...i really miss having those roasted brinjals although i do enjoy anything and everything that tastes good.

    @saurabhfzd: Indeed...Its called bharta, but no one would have understood if I had written bharta directly.

    Just now I had a sweet Vermecilly Porridge, or Kheer as most of the Muslims and Indians call it.
