After going rough the E3 conferences and all the crap they are feeding us I was really ****ed. First I would like to say that I really hate how they talk to us like if they where saying that everything they bring up to the market is like doing a favor for us and no we don't make profit out of it because it's for you.

Ok here goes, gaming is now officially like milking a cow. Most games coming out this year is a franchise that has been over used for years now (Gears Of War, Halo, Fable, Zelda, Mario, Call Of Duty) just to name a few. Less and less originality, less and less games worth buying, less effort put on games makes games that you finish after 5 hours and grind multiplayer afterwards so that you can justify the price of the game.

Kinect . Since when isn't my universal remote which controls everything not good enough, since when do I want to spend my day with my hands in the air waving them like if I was hallucinating butterflies over my head. Yes, let my take out 200$ out of my pocket to get a remote less controller packed with crappy Wii like avatar games that will take the dust 48 hours after I bought them. Yes, I really want to spend my day rubbing a virtual tiger by waving my hands like a retard and asking the tiger if I got ripped off by buying the game.

Microsoft just took the award for this E3 because if I put the puzzle pieces together and if I'm not wrong, when they presented the new 360 they said it was Kinect ready. Does this mean I will have to buy the new 360 to get to play the Kinect or get a new adapter at 100$ to add to my old 360 so I can put another 200$ on the Kinect?

I could use up all the character for this thread but I will end it here saying that I wont be surprised when I turn 40 and they present Halo 470 at E3.

Ugh, it's all crap really. Consumers around the world have always fed on what the mega companys threw at them, so it's, so it's always been. If anything, we brought this to ourselves, I mean sure there are some who would like to have such control features, but the companys are ignoring the fact that those are only 0.9999% of buyers out there. It's simple like hell, we don't want your realism we just want originality.

Well there was no sign of any surprise, just the first conference had something to say since Halo Reach and GOW3 and had good trailers.
Kojima plays barrel role every year.. don't know much money Microsoft gives him for that.
Don't permit me speak about that bored Kinect show, it was more like kindergarten, meh.

While Halo may be over-used, I've seen alot of new steps and improvements in reach, so It's not like their just pumping out crap games everyday, at least they're making improvements.

I do agree kinect is a waste of time though. So many better things they could've come up with in this pathetic attempt to compete with wii.

If anything us consumers are doing them a favour keeping them in business. As for them milking sequels, as ****ing lazy as it is, in the words of Vince McMahon "Its all about the MONNAAY! Its all about the MONNAAY!" sequels simply make more money then original games, there are people who are gonna buy each sequel no matter how good or bad the game is, good examples would be your Call of Duty's, GTA's, Halo's, Final Fantasy's, then your got the Sport's games that release a yearly release like your Smackdown! vs RAW's, Fifa, etc...

That was exactly my point King, games now are like a brand name. After watching the Gears Of War 3 gameplay at E3, I was stoked to see it was the same game as the first and second ones. The new formula for games now is, take a popular game, add some new enemies and make the character do a new stunning move, put a number in front of the title and sell millions of it.

The sad part is that now game developers even admit that the games won't give you more than 10 hours of campaign but sure you can always go kill 100 000 people in multiplayer afterward.

There's a simple solution to this, just don't buy Kinect. And it was said that most 360's were able to use Kinect. Kinect is a way for Microsoft to attract a wider audience, much like the Wii does. Sony isn't any better than Microsoft either. They're new Playstation Move is exactly like the Wii controller.

"Originality" is a rare thing. Movies, music, etc struggle with this. In the gaming world, the amount of originality hasn't changed in the past 20 years. Once in awhile there will be a new game that's "original" and usually it will be a big hit.

All I want to know is why does that insult you guys?

I heard the Halo: Reach beta had more participants than any beta in console history. When you have that many people that want a game you make it, it's common sense, regardless of what game it is.

Everything else in the world is the same way. How long has Toyota been making the Corolla? Since 1966, that's almost 40 years! People know the name and like the product, Toyota would be monumentally idiotic to stop making it.

Game series' make big money because people want them. People like a long continuing storyline, it adds a lot to a game.
