I can see now game patches itself again. What a f..... I am afraid to try the trainer. Enyone else does it?

Are they patching the game because of the trainers? Is there a way to play without the game patching itself?

if you do not play MP, then just make a shortcut to BFBC2.exe on your desktop and launch from it.

I doubt it. DICE has been fixing bugs that were supposed to be fixed before the official release, they don't want angry customers to spam the forums to hell again with complaints and whatnot.

Some developers do not patch the game because of trainers, they patch it because of hacks, in multiplayer.
