Medieval 2: Total War Message Board  

Is anyone else confused by this?

I install Medieval 2, and the expansion and the install CD auto-updates Medieval 2. However, the version numbers are 1.01, 1.02 and 1.03 . Yet every gaming website out there seems to be putting them up as 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 . It confused me enough to spend 35 minutes downloading all the patches, just to find out they were already patched -.-

Did you purchase the game from Direct2Drive. I did so and my version numbering is the same as yours. I also need to download a NO-CD fix to use a trainer 100% effectively.
