How fun is it and why is it better than console gaming? I'm not good with complicated things so if it's complicated it's probably not for me...What would I need for it? (Links please) like what kind of computer etc.?

    For the 999999th time...

Sounding like an obvious fanboy, I vote for the PC, because:-

    1) Better controlling

    2) Cheat Factor: Trainers...nuff said.

    3) You can fiddle around with the game files, mod stuff.

That's enough to justify my vote.

Just reading "Neo7" reminds me of RTS games (Starcraft = Neo7).

RTS games are **** when it comes to consoles, and RTS too.

"How fun is it?" That's like asking how much you enjoyed going to the theater. There is no single overriding experience of good/bad.

For instance, most PC racing games are pretty bad, because the keyboard cannot offer the level of control a console controller can. On the same note, RTS games for the console are pretty awful because the input interface isn't nearly complex enough.

Also, as for what kind of hardware you need, that's going to depend on what applications you run. If you're planning to play Crysis at full HD and maximum settings, you're going to need to shell out a hell of a lot of money for a rig that can handle that.

But if all you're going to do is play the Sims, you spend less than $500 on something that will do the job just fine.

Honestly, I don't think console gaming would kill PC gaming... Even most parts of the world can't afford a PS3, and here in the Philippines it's a rare object to see in a household.
-Just one kiss took away my breathe,-
-And you drew me in with your tenderness,-
-You captivate my soul, I'm enraptured.-
-And you knocked me out, and you locked me up,-
-You stole my heart like a thief in love,-
-You hold me tight in our happy ever after,-
    -I'm captured.-

Here too...But the reason of this "Killing" would only be because of piracy - Which I doubt that it will happen or not, only DRM's like Ubisoft DRM will keep on coming.

The PC is a fantastic platform. It's a shame so many people only use it to play flash games.
