I think there is something wrong with the automatic internet activation. I downloaded the 1.6.2 version of the Trainer and booted it up and immediately I got a notification that I wasn't connected to the internet, and to get an offline key. I was about to do that but found trainers with more options than the 1.6.2 trainer found here. Thanks for the link, whoever it was that gave it. (I have no firewall or AV scanner, I find them annoying and only in emergencies I find myself having to use them)
To the people saying it was from a torrented version - this rarely happens (a trainer not working for a specific version), mostly happens because a version mismatch that changes the codes of a particular health or ammo location due to stability issues or just general reasons. If you absolutely NEED a trainer for the game, make one yourself: CoSMOS.org
    Its not that terribly difficult.
    Note:
I In no way condone piracy and [strongly dislike] those that do not support software authors.

I recently downloaded the trainer (to use use with my Steam-purchased game) and it too, worked fine for a couple of days then stops responding. I can get it working again via a reboot for some reason, but that's a pain. The other one that was posted seems to work fine.

    Very strange!

    🤔

    Hi guys,

Been playing for a month or so and doing really fine, however, 3 days ago my trainer started to crash, I get the not responding every time I hit F1, with the game running or not. As far as I concern, there are no given problems in my computer to make it crash.

The game runs fine, the problem is only with the trainer. Before you ask, Im running it as a administrator, and never had problems with the AVG antivirus I use.

    Im using Windows 7.

    Any suggestions?

And sorry for the bad english!

I had the same problem - same set up as you (but with Avast AV, not AVG). Also, like you the problem started out of the blue.

I use a machine that is not switched off or restarted very often, so after lots of mucking about, it turns out that a simple restart solved the problem.

Without trying to insult anyone, have you tried a restart before doing anything else?

    Ive got the fix!
If its not the anti virus, neither the admin rights
Check if there are 2 .exe´s of the game running, i checked out and there was one consuming the normal amount of memory and another with the same name consuming low memory, kill the low memory consuming process and thats it. I dont know how steam managed to get 2 exes running, but one thing is sure: the trainer went crazy at choosing one of them.

For the guys who dont know how to do this:
Press Ctrl + Alt + Supr then search for two "xrEngine.exe" (will have a *32 if you have a 64 bit system)
Kill one of the two processes, the one whose have the lowest memory consumption.
