Hi.
Meh. Most of the women in my family are curvy, I suppose I can blame my tummy on genetics. It's either be overweight now and learn to live with it or gain weight when I hit 50 and get depressed.
Besides, I doubt Andrew would forgive me if I lost the curves he adores so much *wink wink*
Also, it might just be me, but I tend to be more attracted to guys and girls with more weight. I find skinny to be quite ugly. wiL Francis looked a lot cuter when he was fatter, but I still wanna hug him =3
I am secretly waiting for the day my sister gets hit with the full force of her hormones and stops being a stick insect. She's an effing size 6! And she eats more than I do!

Hmmm...interesting.
About a year ago I started going to the gym. I wasn't "fat"...just, really chubby I suppose. Every since then...well...I didn't lose weight. I just lost a lot of fat and gained a little muscle. I might have even gained weight...not sure.
But I don't think people's opinion of me have changed due to my appearance over the past year. If it has changed it would be because of something else.

It's fairly natural to put on weight when you get older simply because you are in-able to be active as much as you used to be.
The time when appearance matters is during the younger phase because everyone around us is a horrid judgemental monster who has no idea what is going on around them at any point in time, to make up for the constant strain of confusion they just openly hate everything and then go on youtube.
Also, FFqueen, I don't like the idea of talking about genetics regarding weight, I mean metabolism may have a role to play but, you can change that. It's probably more likely that they share food portions or something. I'm not trying to thwart your justification as my entire point regarding this topic is that, you shouldn't need to justify yourself. I'm saying there is a problem with society, not you.
I know I said I didn't like being fat (when I was) but, I did love food. I used to eat the back of everyone's easter eggs then ninja them back into the box. It was marvellous! Now I can't even eat a single easter egg to myself, I have to space it out over a few days while constantly harbouring a food baby after each sitting.

Dancer, I was somewhat like you, though not as big when younger and not as thin now. As far as genetics go, most men in my family start off packing on a little weight and springing up in height to even it out (though using the term "evening out" implies there's a specific mold to fit, but really I just mean ratios)
I'm led to assume you were somewhat the same, so I like to feel like I can relate to you. However that's probably not the case, because instead of developing a personality, I just withdrew from everyone for a long time. When I finally got back into the world to socialize, it was like putting a nursed falcon back into the wild. I hadn't developed any social skills to speak of, so I flopped for a while. I was a sad panda.

I have to agree. Stuff how I look, I can hold an intelligent conversation, can't I? And if you care how I look then stuff you. Oh, and Hi.
