what crew would you like to see return

personally, i like miranda, legion, ash, samara and thane
and possibly grunt and liara

Tali and Garrus first off, purely because they've been with you since the beginning.

Legion definitely - he came along way too late in the game to make the best of him (hopefully there'll be DLC in which he'll be able to expand as a character).

Thane said he had less than a year to live (I think... I'm pretty sure he said in 8 months he wouldn't be in any condition to do anything), so I imagine, unless the third game takes place directly after the 2nd, he'll be dead or incapacitated. Hopefully he'll have found a cure or something though.

Miranda will probably stick around since she told the Illusive Man to stick his job where the massive sun behind him doesn't shine (the implications of that situation are awkward, but anyway ), unless she runs off to set up her own Cerberus-type cell.

So Tali, Garrus, Thane, Miranda and Legion are my hopes. Of course, it'd be nice to see the other characters in some form or another, like they did with ME1's crew.

Then again, going on and surviving a suicide mission with no casualties would probably bond a group of people like no other - not like ME1 - so I imagine all of ME2's characters will be around (maybe even all aboard the Normandy still), even if they're not selectable as squad mates.

I get the feeling Liara will play a larger role in the 3rd game, but I'm not sure in which capacity.

EDIT: Oh... can't believe I forgot Mordin! Definitely want Mordin back for 3.

personally, i'd like the entire ME2 crew. i could live without some of them, but you only need 2 people in your party so it works out.

And for the new people, i'd like to see liara and ashley/kaiden back.

i'd love to have wrex back, but most likely he and the krogan will have their own storyline in ME3.

I wouldn't mind having a couple new people too, maybe kasumi (masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Kasumi) if she's cool, and i'd love to randomly have a hanar crew member lol

I'd like to have another powerful biotic, I could see myself rolling with Liara and Samara, so I can only hope Liara is applicable as a party member in ME3. I also like Thane, he seems to be a very respectable character and I like his morals/motivation.

Speaking of Biotics, I really hope they expand the biotic powers in the third game. It kinda sucked to only have one or two really useful abilities. I mean... what Miranda does to the Eclipse merc on her personal quest is cool (lifts her up then shoots a blast at her to cheathappens her across the room)... why can't we use that?! Not to mention the kind of abilities Samara uses in cut scenes.

About Wrex : if you haven't imported your ME1 savegame, he's died on the raid where Ashley/Kaidan died too. So he definitely can't come back - but maybe Grunt could have his storyline.

I have a feeling if Wrex survived in your game, he'll be by your side in ME3 but as an NPC with a big-ass Krogan army. Same with the Rachni queen and the Geth if you saved them too (maybe the Quarians too... but I have a feeling some of your choices will affect whether there's a war between the Geth and Quarians in ME3 or whether they saw the difference between the Heretics and plain old Geth and decided peace was the favoured option).
