Run around until you find a pound spot, you hit both pillars into the ground and all the gears reverse, you'll figure out the rest from there.

It is difficult I agree, and you have to accually jump on the gears to reach some rooms just watch for a mouse, he practically leads you right to a pound pillar. And if you mean the psynergy puzzle then it's very very very difficult to explain perfectly. Just hit the switch and pound the blocks in the holes until it connects so that both sides can hit the thingie in the middle of the room. Then the "soon to be" Witch Doctor comes in and talks to you about the orb.........I don't really have to explain any more from there.
