Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery Message Board  

Hi guys, I am on chapter 5 a storm is brewing. I have a problem with my houses not leveling. My patricians capped at 1150 and now the houses wont level up. I have citizens and settlers sitting right next to patricians with 100% of everything they need. I can't finish the quests because I need to make war machines and I don't have the level to do it. Any ideas on how to fix this bug?

Easy Fix guys just build more houses. This isn't the same as the previous versions of the game. In this game the houses don't level together and you will never have a town of solid patricians and such. You need lower level houses to support the upper level ones.

i kinda had the same problem. spent hours waiting for my patrician to level up but it wont. however i found out that my problem was that for patrician to level to noble you have to have the resource "glass" in your settlement warehouse. provide enough and your houses will be upgraded. hope this helps.
