    1) Charmed - One of my favorite girls action drama.

    2) Dash Yonkuro - If you're into Tamiya toy cars, then you'll know I'm talking about.

    3) Spellbinder - It was quite fun to watch it when I was little. Love to see it again.

The problem with this is that most shows I really miss that went off the air did so because they had either finished their story (Babylon 5, Rome) or Jumped the Shark and were put out of their misery (The Sopranos, That 70s Show, Space Above and Beyond).

Having said that, I would like new series of the following:

    1. Fawlty Towers. The Major is long dead, Cleese, Scales and Sachs are in their 70s, the premise wouldn't work anymore... But two seasons simply wasn't enough. It ended just when it got going.

    2. Monty Python's Flying Circus. Find a way to reconstitute Graham Chapman's ashes into something resembling a human and put a silly hat on it. Put six history majors in a room and Python will inevitably emerge.

Two British shows? Yes, well, British Comedies of the 1970s are vastly superior to all other forms of television. It's just a shame that the BBC insisted on using horrible technical standards (and still does, really).

Finally, 3. Columbo. Can you believe that it only lasted 69 episodes? (69...hehehehehehehehe) It was ultra-low budget, shot with a single camera, had two significant names per episode (Peter Falk and the guest villain), had the single greatest character in crime drama. **** CBS crime shows. Columbo is where it's at.

YET ANOTHER SHOW FROM THE 1970S!!!!!!!

    ---------------

    But the rub is this.

These cannot be remakes. I don't want them to pull a Kojak or a Kolchak on this. You cannot replace Telly Savalas or Darren McGavin.

You need the real cast, in their primes. So, this will require epic scifi rejuvenation technologies to become reality.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
