I don't really know who I should worship, really. If I HAVE to be monotheistic, then it's a hard choice between Foamy the Squirrel and Jeff Dunham. IF however, I had the option to be polytheistic, then I'd definitely rank them around the top 5 of my 10 Gods and Goddesses.
Seriously, Foamy is wise and blunt about his opinion, and doesn't bother with political correctness and is funny as hell, and Jeff Dunham is the same but can make fun of himself like no other comedian. Powder-Blue Prius? Props to him for using that and other things with his puppets to make fun of himself. Takes a lot of balls to make fun of yourself with gay stereotypes. That and he made digs against G.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Terrorists, and a couple of actors. That's comedic gold right there.
Among my other lords and masters would be Dragoneer, owner of Furaffinity. And of course Taurin Fox, the guy who turned me on to furry (Literally ), and some of my closest friends.
But I digress. I merely reused one of Jeff Dunham's jokes because he's funny as hell and his jokes don't bother with beating around the bush and using clever euphemisms to be "Politically Correct". He goes right out and says it. Jeff:"Like if you choke a smurf, what color does it turn?" Walter:"Choke a smurf? Is that what they're calling it now? What the hell happened to the chicken?". That right there is one of my favorites. It was a little out of the way and a LITTLE obscure, but anyone old enough to know both references would almost die laughing.
In short, Jeff Dunham is one of the BEST comedians out there today, and not just because he's one of the only ventriloquist comedians, but because of his personality (and those of his puppets), his politically incorrect humor, and how he can easily make fun of himself through his puppets. Not many comedians actively make fun of themselves consistently through many routines. A lot of them make fun of their family, their geographic origins, or racial background, but not many make fun of themselves. That makes Jeff Dunham a breath of fresh air in comedy.
