Dragon Age hasn't even been out that long and it already has a patch? Where do I find the v1.01 patch? I have the retail version with all the extra content. Even if I find the patch I don't know if I'll install it though. All the posts I've read gives me the impression the new trainer for it is too buggy. I'm satisfied with the first Mega Trainer for the original retail version. I just wish there was a way to remove skill and spell/talent points, because I've acidentally ended up with more than I can use.

i'm currently running it with the patch, mega trainer works fine, no problem at all.
however, i can't download Warden Keep, since it's only for version 1.0 so my download is stuck at 0%

You could always install the DLCs first before patching.

[Edited by glavire, 11/6/2009 5:04:34 PM] ------ Yea I have something of a simular poblem, only in the main menu I get the "Activated" voice, but when I start to play with my save and I try to use Num 1 and 2 I get nothing.

I've no problem in running this new mega trainer with the 1.01 patch under Windows 7 Ultimate 64.

Just a note on my end, Steam version, with steam trainer for patch #1. I tested it out , and everything was working great, however at one point the character became frozen and could not move (every other character could), this is at the beginning of the game for human / noble, warrior, while escaping the castle.

Probably have to start over though. I'm checking to see if I can use a save from 1.01 on 1.00

Worked fine for me. I think the Steam version of the game is the main cause. Many people who have game won't start problem after patching bought the Steam version.
My game version is Retail so it worked fine for me after patching.
I read somewhere on another forum regarding game won't boot after patching. Someone said that your PC might need to install Visual C++ Redistribute 2005+ package to run the game properly.
