I'm not worried about the virus warning, I'm aware certain memory injection techniques show up as malware/trojans, I am a little miffed that the trainer won't work however.
I'm using the Steam GOTY version, latest patch.
Haven't used the trainer for this game yet, as I only finished downloading it yesterday.
Are there any plans in the pipe line to have an updated version of the trainer to work with the GOTY edition (without actually using the DLC) If that's at all possible.
Your AV, firewall or other security software is interfering with the trainer. Current trainer is tested and working fine on current version of the game.
I find that hard to believe when all the other trainers I have downloaded from this site work perfectly.
Anyhow, I don't run a firewall, and I disabled AVG. Same problem.

I find it hard to believe that you have an MCSE which primarily focuses on fault finding among other things.
Other trainers may be not picked up as a false positive due to strings of bytes that the AV will pick up wrongly as a virus derivative.
Thats why in your 2nd picture from the previous page you couldn't access the trainer due to the AV still barring access to it, just add the trainer to the exception list and try again.
Even if you disable AVG when the file was false positiv'd it is still barred access to be run, you either have to remove it from the naughty list or add it as an exception.
