Yeah, the gameplay will remain untouched (hence I think the engine will be the same), its basically Left 4 Dead 1 with new characters, zombies (problably) and a fix here and there.

it looks more like a patch.. but i think i am gonna buy it.. new story.. and plus if a zomibie's arm is gonna "fall off" he is still gonna come after you.. wich is cool...

but the new infected (charger).. is retarded...

I bought the game from Best Buy a couple weeks ago but didn't get to play until the other day because my internet wasn't working when I bought it, I figured if I had to wait to download it from steam I could just go buy it and install from the cd but NO! I didn't know you have to be online to install their games that ****ed me off alot but I got over it and now that my internet is working I played it and .... its alright! Not great but not crap I can see why some would call it a patch/DLC addon or whatever but thats what happens when you hurry! Anyways this just means if they make a 3rd they will hopefully listen to the fans and make the best damn zombie apocolyptic survival game ever!!
