I play the enhanced edition and in chapter III (in the bank robbery quest), I chose to help the elves. Velerad (the second professional in this chapter) was available to play poker with me after the bank quest. The thing is that I can't make him play with me before the end of Chapter III, because as he says, "You are an elf lover" This means I will not complete the dice poker quest.

Is there a way to pursuade Velerad to "forgive" me and thus be allowed to finish the professional part of the dice poker quest?

I think thats stupid, why completing a quest makes another quest impossible...doesn't make sense to me

Na its not.

It makes you have to chose how to play. Meaning you are going to have to go through it again to do the others. Which to be truthful its better that way.!

I find that the Scoate'l are a negative side in the Witcher universe, primaryli vecause they are killing civilians, both the posite side of them is that they are fighting for elves and dwarf's. Both I alway choose the order of the flamming rose, because they are lesser evil

I always ended up with choosing the neutral side,
if two parties fights, and neither of them are using good methods of doing it, its better let them fight between themselves.

Since both of the parties slaughter, Sco... slaughter humans, and flaming rose slaughters all "non humans".
