Its HARD as heck.
First mission you are told to go find some one, thats it.
There is NO tutorial mission to show you whats what.
You have to try and figure it out your self.
Closest thing i can think of in ways of a game that feels like this one is UFO: Aftershock, math and so on.
Its most likly a good game once you get the hang of it and it looks whery nice with the new graffics.
If you are a fan of the games that came before it or if you are an advaced gamer that dont mind figuring out things for your self, then i recomend you try this game.
If you are casual gamer that thinks Half life 2, rome: total war and the sims where hard games, then you should not pick this game up.
Hey guys, anyone has any idea how to get past the first level? I have been trying to figure out how this game work for a month already walking around talking to different people. So fustrating...
Well, What you know is wrong.
This game is a Turn-based, Squad-based Strategy game. This genre is home to epics such as X-COM, Jagged Alliance, and Silent Storm. Probably my favorite genre ever...seeing as X-COM is my all-time favorite game.
You hire people to make your 'squad', you go on missions, equip your guys with guns, ammo, 'nades, etc, and spend time moving around the maps, killing baddies, and completing objectives.
Yes, this game is extremely hard, and has a STEEP learning curve for anyone not familiar with the game style. If you want to get into this genre, and get a good feel for it before jumping into this one, I'd recommend Silent Storm or Jagged Alliance. Similar games, but easier to learn. X-COM, of course, is an awesome game but is extremely outdated, and the poor graphics seem to chase most 'newbie' gamers away from an excellent game.
