Well You Can try Call of Duty: World at War, put difficult Veteran and this will take long time.

Halo 2 would have been better if it came out in 1998 and not 2004.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare > CoD: World at War.

Ask anyone who has played both. CoD4 is the best shooter (online wise) imo. If you are going for story, get Bioshock like Dhampy said.

CoD4 is the greatest of the franchise and will likely never be eclipsed.

Both call of duty games are really made for online, their stories are pretty weak like most war games and their campaigns are remarkably short. They are still great games, but not if your looking for a long story driven fps like bioshok or the half life series. Farcry 2 has a decent story but I'm not sure if you want to spend at least 15 minutes walking/driving to and from each step of every mission. If they had like a teleport in that game it would take an hour to beat the story, but since there is so much darn traveling it literally takes like 12 hours plus mostly just traveling.
