They were clones created from the DNA of the mercenary Jango Fett and were meant as a counter part for the Trade Federation's droid army.

Who is Boba Fett?

Jango Fett wanted one of the clones for himself. The clone was Boba Fett and he aged normally differentiating from the other clones who aged faster. Jango kept him and took care of him like his own child.

What was his "proffesion"?

Boba followed in Jango's feet and became a mercenary and a bounty hunter like him too. He also became Mandalore for some time.

EE-3 carbine rifle, Czerka flame projector, concussion grenade launcher and a blaster pistol as sidearms. He also had a BlasTech Dur-24 wrist laser, Tenloss DXR-6 disruptor rifle, a Kelvarex Consolidated Arms MM9 mini concussion rocket in his gauntlet, a Fibercord Whip and small rocket launchers on his knee pads. Basically the guy had more weapons than the Imperial arsenal.
