hiya, i'm new here...nice to meet you all

i have a problem with my editor, after i encoded the save file,
i fill the exp and gold form, but it keep saying cannot find experience point, although i find my exp and gold amount in save data, it always occurred to error

can somebody help me please

Is the character brand new without any experience anyway?

Have you exited any game to the main menu screen (the one where you can choose which char to play)?
If not you need to then reload the char in game to see any changes. I think it may show the changes in the editor but not in the game then when you save the game it writes over the edited changes (least from what I can remember that happens aalthough it has been a long time since I have played Sacred 2).

Did you happen to download the old version of the editor? The newest one found here: LINK REMOVED. Newer version ahead. doesn't require you to fill XP and gold anymore (and is much more awesome, if I do say so myself :P ).

Well, if you downloaded the older version, sorry for the inconvenience. Thruth is, this is not my thread (I didn't start it), so I cannot edit the opening post to put the newest version of the editor on the first page and not everybody bothers to read all 23 pages of useles information. Sadly, one can say the whole thread is dead altogether, as not many players still play Sacred 2.
[I on the other hand am optimistic to assume, that the editor works well so far, 'cause no one posts new bugs. ]

Funny thing, though. I played Sacred 2 today for about an hour to reminisce about the good old times, then browsed web a little, and visited DarkMatters forum, where I saw your post about modifying a character. Then I look here to find your post. Web isn't so vast after all. :P
