Far Cry 2 Message Board  

I went back and tried to finish the game. I managed to do one more mission that took a good 40 minutes and gave up again. I don't think I will ever get the motivation to finish it. I'm tempted to just look up the ending on the internet so I know what happens.

The game is Boring. Lets face it, we wasted money, I get so dizzy with narrowness factor and bouncing effect. Does not play like Fallout 3, Crysis..etc. I like good weapons up front, next time won't buy from this software maker, until its been out for a while.

yes I think that the enemy AI are far to keen, this game seems like far cry 1 just about impossible to complete without a trainer.

Obviously I am a big fan of the game. I disagree that it is too hard as I have played through on Hardcore without any trainers or cheats. You just need strategy. If you don't like the game or think it is boring, then it is because you don't appreciate solo shooter strategy (as apposed to team strategy like multiplayer Halo).

The need to buy new weapons and the fact that enemy emplacements respawn almost immediately is part of the fun. Every time you pass through an area is a chance to find a new way to do it and a different approach angle. That is how you beat the game on the harder difficulties. By knowing the area and knowing what works where and under what circumstances.

Sure the story is kinda dull and the missions are repetitive, but in my opinion their sole purpose is to just move you along and send you back into areas.

uhhh dude... did you even BOTHER play the game? hunting game? this isnt a hunting game this is a FPS...

but yes i to was rather disapointed with this one i had hoped on a continue on the story from FC1 but nooo instead your a bloomin merc out to kill a weapon trader

otally what are you guys thinking about buying this game I`d just start checking the gameplay and the rythme of the game And then just go to the pirate bay and download the razor with this game so this is why i just got it (I`m not 16 or older thats why) I even like this when my computer is incredibly so sooner or later itll have to live off a solar panel The enemys are quite easy but its not the atmosphere of africa do you think they have Only zebras there Do you guys even like shooting Cos if ya do why the Mind did you even buy it Your glad ya didn`t buy space invaders for about 24.00 (Cost in my gaming shop)

good game to help put you to sleep, other then that its just not worth money. but dang man the weapons is just not happening.

player weapons: buy new ones or you gave just gotten married to mrs.jammer. AI weapons: permanetly fresh till you get it...

death? what do you mean death? like i got K.O once since i for some reason rushed people then my mate comes out and pulls me somewhere outta heat zone, covering with a ak47 and a deagle *!!!*
then i could heal myself but yea, random revine lol!!.

vehicles: pop the top and qork *wrong spelling* the bolt on that engine and magicly/fully repair your vehicle, since when did that happen?


there is no story so stop trying to find it. its just you going rambo till you find, kill the weapons trader AKA the Jackel.

solo action FPS *rpg not nessisarry, c'mon now...* is fine as long as theres a point or like some kind of plot to it. fires can spread and catch on flammable sources then all of a sudden, instant invisable hydrant puts it out O.o. ugh, just play FC 1 and if you happen to purchase 2, then im sorry you just got rickrolled
