I have been having problems with collecting the last part of the minikit on this level. Everytime I try and unplug the pipe with the bat boat, nothing happens. The minikit detector says its there, all the walkthroughs say it's there but I can't get it to work. Dose anyone else have the same problem or is it just me. If so dose anyone have an answer.

Yep, it's just you I don't have this bug so i can't help you there.
