Ammo ammounts are protected buffers like health / etc are within CPed object.

I don't use the trainer so the texture problem has nothing to do with it probably. I get it when I bring out the Windows Live screen before I'm in the game.
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

i am not sure what people are discussing regarding the protected buffers, etc. we did not use rick's method and i do not even know what his project or his methods are.
without getting too complicated, for the health and for the money i did this the old fashioned way.... i did search, bought something, did search, bought something, etc., etc. until i narrowed it down to 20 or 30 addresses then i froze them and tested each one then breakpointed them and then followed the stack back to the code from within the xlive .dll and then reversed the code to create the trainer option.
NOW, for ammo, i have shot a round off, searched, repeat to no avail. i cannot narrow it down to any addresses that i can breakpoint and follow like i did the health. i will say that i spent more than 2 hours on each of those options though so i just probably need more time, LOL.
i DO have code locations that display the ammo, but when those are modified they are overwritten by the real value so those aren't the true values. also note that the data isn't stored in it's REAL place like '100', it's stored in LONG or FLOAT format which has been XOR'ed in a unique way, such that the data is broken into 4 separate bytes which are XOR'ed by 4 other bytes and sprinkled into 4 interrupted positions (not in a row). these encrypted byte values are different each time the game is run and different for each value location.
at any rate, if anyone wants to PM me something useful for the ammo or even car damage that will help me speed this along then that's fine. but understand we are already getting accused of not creating our own trainers, etc., and any work we do on this will definitely be for members only! otherwise, it's just me repeating the searches until i get it and then me reversing back until i can isolate and make the option. i takes alot of time to do this and NOT affect xlive or change it.

regarding texture and graphical glitches, one of my notebooks has this problem (older notebook) and the newer one ran perfect. i can say at least for me that the graphics card/type/drivers are likely the problem with the older notebook.

I thought I had problems with the game or trainer it turns out it was one of many things such as version number of GTAIV.exe and xlive.dll which must match, your overclock must be stable with correct timings. Microsoft keyboard and controller drivers must be updated as well as sound and graphics drivers. If all is correct then trust me, this trainer works tested on Vista Ultimate 64x with Razor1911. Follow the instruction from Cal and yeah you must meet system minimum requirements. I love this trainer it is original and was developed fast considering all the effort that went in to it. Most importantly it works. We thank you for this and we will remember Cal/Pwizard did it first, did it right, and cant be duplicated. CH rocks!!

I TOTALY agree with the 2 posts above, keep it in the green levels and your ok to go, this game was build for HIGH specs compy, meaning latest gfx gard and a quad core will you go max out if you want to overrun and go red, well youll get problems, simple.
but understand we are already getting accused of not creating our own trainers, etc., and any work we do on this will definitely be for members only!
being accused ch doesnt make their own trainers??? HELLO!?!?
thats horse to me! if they can get it somewhere else, why are they all complaining over here and begging Caliber to get a trainer ffs, just kick em from here and let them do their homework somewhere else... accused for not makling own trainers... ill give them something to train for... sorry pw and cal , but this upsets me, they cant have what they want, so they say like that so you are forced to make trainers? kiss my is what my choice of words are keep doing your work at your own tempo caliber, we unl.members will support you even if its not possible to make the gta4 trainer more advanced WE know you, and everyone else that makes trainers over here, did their best job, F the know-it-alls, CH RULEZ!!!!

For those who say you can't die on a motorcycle when using the trainer, you are incorrect. I was riding a PCJ-600 (think that what its called) a ran head on with an SUV. Niko flew into the SUV and died. I think it either has to do with how soon you hit something or the combined speed of the crash. Also noticed that you can't drown in a car.
EDIT: People having graphics issues, it is not the trainer. A lot of people are have problems with this, and Rockstar/Take2 are aware of this. They just don't have any solutions yet. As people have said keep you settings in the green. Unless you know your PC more than meets the recommended settings, don't over do the settings.
