dude you'll be fine. just use the weapons cheats for guns. and if your worried about the money achivement. you will make over a million in the game in total money from missions so don't worry about it.

I had 850,000 left when i finished my 100% save. though it's down to 400k now. i died a lot while messing around lol

how goes money cheat 😵 please post you´r savegame , can man the car sell , money agrees

Have you tried alt tabbing to task manager and setting the priority of the game a bit higher, this usually makes most games ive played run faster. Try different lvls from 'abovenormal' upwards.

Also, im assuming that there are options that can only be turned on with directx 10, i use xp, and when trying to change the rendering quality up from medium, it quickjly flashes high, and then back to medium. Can anyone confirm if they can get it to high?

Im testing the Pc version in 10 minutes.
The graphics from the 360 version are not so good as i thought.
The distance effects were bad looking

Personnally i find i quite ok/good (i had the Xbox version and i can tell that there is (most of time) a HUGE leap in the quality and details
I've not yet unlocked Alderney but on the 3 first islands, it's looking quite good (I precise that i play in 1280 x 1024, for playability i use all at 50 (except shadow that i leave at 3) and medium + veryhigh (medium for texture, i don't have enough vram)
Most of time i am over 40fps (sometime,it's dropping at 25 thou)

Having 2 versions, i can tell thay did add a few things in the city (details like for example, a playground under the highway (near the bus station)) , the graphics also receive the Shadow (it's not about the normal shadows of building but at 3, you can see that headlight make object cast shadow (quite nice feature)...just try (to see what i mean) to drive at night near a pole or wait for a pedestrian to walk in front of your beams (you'll see the shadow that cast on the ground quite nicely (moving like the shadow would do))

Personnally, i'm quite happy (thou i suspect they won't be trainers nor real modding (and being a modder, i'm extremely sad to see that (stupid Live))

BTW, those that would say that CPU isn't that important, i can tell you it is!, i've got trouble right now and i've tested (to see if my CPU was responsible) with a E6400...it's a lot less playable (at same level of detail) then with my E8400...

I've tried tons of stuff. forcing the textures to go higher, putting it's priority on max. disabling just about every other thing running.

Problem is the game is just optimised like ****. it does almost everything through the video card instead of mixing it between RAM and VRAM so it really kills your computer. i can only hope the upcoming patch and new ATI drivers will work better.

Right now i have it set on medium textures and high render quality. with the first 3 sliders at 22 and the shadow density at 0. i get 15-25 FPS.
