Im just curious, is there any way to join the brotherhood of steel or any of the big groups powers in the game?

also, on another note, when i asked about learning to use the power armor everyone says go get approval from elder such in such in the lab, granted im asking in the GNR studio, but i've scoured the building and found no such lab, is there some other facility i have to go to?

The lab is in a totally different place on the map. It's in BOS "main building". In a place called The Citadel

you can't really "join" the BOS in this game, you're only an "Honorary" member.

I just found a bunch of Brothers fighting a pack of Super Mutants...grabbed a helmet and suit of a dead one!

Just have to wait to get into the Citadel so they can train me to use it.........

Yeah, I wasn't very happy about that. I recall being able to join up with the BoS in at least one of the previous Fallout games.

Even if I'm not remembering correctly, in this day and age, you SHOULD be able to...considering you could in Oblivion, and this is BASED on the Oblivion engine, they should've let you join up with different factions.

well that was my reasoning behind asking, i know there were alot of factions you could sign up in with in oblivion and while i had heard alot about several here i hadn't seen any way to join them

i think the reason why you can't join is because they purposely left it out for the DLC. they've said that each DLC pack is going to be like 7-20 hours

so it's possible you join all those factions when their DLC comes out.
