Fallout 3 Message Board  

It seems to crash my game when I activate super weapons and perfect condition, I have the retail version.

i have renamed that catalog file and i still get crash to desktop when i active the trainer

i'm crashing aswell upon changeing the file names and such....before the update i did the file changes and it worked flawlessly...after the patch and with the new trainer nothing but crashes....i have the retail version

ok seriously wtf ??

ive been playing the game for a while and all of a sudden the games crashes.
so i thought ok ill try again, and i still have the same problem.
what i did next is update video drivers and tried the game again.
but oh dear it crashed again.

am at the part where am about to escort this big ass robot to get the purifier and it always crashes now.

ive even tried to load up previous games but they all crash ??

i have also tried the game without the trainer but it crashes to
i haven't touched any files in the dir (apart the cat one)

any help guys ??

Both the direct2drive and the updated trainer crash for me, usually after I push the options No Encumberance or Perfect Condition. Running Fallout 3 Direct2drive, worked before the game updated with the direct2drive trainer.

Okay i went and did a stupid things, i made all the files hidden, when i was trying to make it show all hidden files as i couldn't find the file you was talking about. So i need some help geting them unhidden agin. Anyone?

(nevermind i found out how but i still don't see the file you're talking about)

It shows up as Fallout3.exe in the root directory of the game, it has a different icon then the Fallout icon that looks like a few files wrapped together by a manilla strap...that is the cabinet file to edit the end (so in, Fallout3.exe.bak).

But the trainer still doesn't work even with that process, well for a few of us anyway.
