If people didn't fall for scams, then people wouldn't run them.
It has been almost a year and a half since this thread was started, since it is already back on top I wanted to ask a question. Have there been any recent occurrences of this particular scam? Or are there any new ones to be concerned with?
I've had D2 for quite some time now, but have always been distracted by other games and have never finished, or gotten very far in it. I decided to install it today and try once more. So, I'm just curious as to whether there's anything else like this to watch out for.
Been a long time since i played D2 but dont u have to toggle pvp on/off to attack anyone/be attacked to begin with? and isnt there no attacking in town?

Lol... it's all good in the hood, dudes
as the original poster, and am still getting emails for this damn thread...
let me explain...
I had these two friends who just think the world of themselves. they were talking about wanting to be "Mad Godly" in this game called diablo II. while over hearing what these two morons where talking about one day, they were talking about how they were about to scam people, and this one scam seemed to work every time.
the scam I have already describbed...
anyways, by posting this thread on this website, I had thought that it would have caught on, and people wouldn't fall for it anymore.
these two "pals" of mine ended up getting too Godly for their own good and ended up having a little tiff over all these items they had stolen.
and, so, now, over TWO YEARS later...
I cut both those idiots outta my life and have nothing to do with either one of them anymore.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that no one should be falling for this weak, lame ass scam, any longer.
COOL STORY BRO
